Alicia Keys is ballin' on the over of the December/January issue of Complex. The 'Girl on Fire' singer is sitting leisurely in a ball chair, looking effortlessly stunning in an oversized white top while barefoot.

The set up (but not the styling) of the image reminds us of a Beyonce cover of yore.

Much of the shots in the spread feature the singer looking flawless yet unfussy. Her bob is growing out a little, but she's still chic.

In the feature, Keys opened up about her public and personal life, saying that she needs to have parts that are reserved just for her. "There’s personal and there’s public, and I deserve the right to have a personal space," the singer said. True dat.

She also shared that she is so driven that she actually competes with herself. How does that work? Simple. She is never satisfied with the last thing she did. "I'm competitive with myself in the sense that I want to get better. It’s not that I’m obsessively dissecting myself, but there’s a critique that happens … I'm not comparing myself to other people. I don’t wanna be like her or him. I want to be my best."

That's a healthy and positive attitude for the singer and young mother to have.
