An Intimate Interview With The Late, Great Joan Rivers

When I heard the news of Joan Rivers passing today, I was stricken. So often celebrities die and we mourn their loss, but Joan Rivers was hero to women throughout the entertainment industry.

No matter what you thought of her comedy, take on life or numerous plastic surgeries, she was a trailblazer for women. Just over four years ago, I had the opportunity to interview Joan and if you listen to the audio, you can tell I was nervous as hell! In my career I've had the chance to talk to some amazing celebrities, but by far, Joan is the one that left me star struck! Please understand, this is from four years ago, so a lot of the topics are outdated, but I think you'll enjoy them none the less. At the time she was working hard... on a comedy tour and she had also recently released a book and a no holds barred documentary.

Some people might ask, was Joan Rivers truly relevant for young people at 81 years old? Yes, yes she was. After all, her final tweet was about Jessie J!
