It's that time of year again when ballers from all over the state and surround areas will grace the streets of Casper to do battle.

The third annual Foss Motors 3x3 Basketball Tournament presented by Shoshone Rose Casino & Hotel returns to Casper on May 25, 2018 with opening ceremonies and open to all dancing in the streets.

This USA Basketball affiliated tournament is the longest running 3x3 tournament in Wyoming. This year marks the third year it has been held in Casper and is the first year as a part of the Cowboy State Games, making it the official 3x3 basketball championship in Wyoming. Award ceremonies will be held on the David Street Station stage with teams winning gold, silver and bronze Cowboy State Games medals.

Located on the streets around David Street Station, competitors and fans will enjoy music, games for children and of course, 3x3 basketball. The tournament begins on May 25 at 7:00 p.m. with opening ceremonies and a dance party on center court featuring DJ Nyke until 9:00 p.m. The public is invited to the opening ceremonies and dance party/games begin Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and conclude Sunday at approximately 5:00 p.m.

At Noon on Saturday, the annual dunk contest, sponsored by Miller Lite, will be held on Center Court! The winner of the dunk contest must be playing on a team and will win a $500 prize.

John Giantonio, director of the Cowboy State Games, stated:

With David Street Station being finished, we feel like more people will be coming down to watch the competition and enjoy Memorial Day weekend with some basketball and the Yellowstone Garage car show next door. We’ve waited for DSS (David Street Station) to be completely open and I think it’s going to add an entire new dimension to our tournament.  We are very excited to have DSS as the focal location of the tournament.
