April Fly Fishing: Eagles, Rowing and Searching for Pike

Well I went out another trip looking for Pike. This was the first of this year though, but did go out late last year trying to get one. It shaped up to be a beautiful day though!

I grabbed a few pictures of the Eagle I saw but they aren't that great but you can tell he is there. The day turned into a nice one, I got some time on the oars but unfortunately did not get any fish. I was throwing a big streamer on a very heavy rod and am learning so I am not sure I was presenting the fly right. I will get a Pike one day on a fly rod...

We had some Caribou dogs from Alaska! Thanks to Steve and the Dog Mouse for a great day on the water.
