Since the beginning of time (well, my time) I have said I can't stand cover bands.  I am pretty sure this is all thanks to my best friend playing a Beatles song that was covered by a horrible whiny punk band. Ever since that day, I just haven't given cover songs or bands a chance.  BUT, then my co-worker sent me a cover of one of Lady Gaga's songs the other day and, actually, I thought it was better then the original.  I then started searching the web for Lady Gaga cover songs and found some pretty decent ones......and ridiculous ones.  I have decided to share my search and thought (because lets face it, most of you know I'm not very good at keeping my opinion to myself) with all of you wonderful people out there in radio land. So, uncover your poker face and let me know which one is your favorite.

#1 - Poker Face

This is the cover my co-worker, Grace, sent to me.  I really do like this version. This artist took a very loud, wild song and made it sound very enticing and sexy.  It makes me want to put on a colorful, flowy dress and dance in Beartrap Meadow up on Casper Moutain.  Am I alone on this feeling? I sure hope not.

#2 - Edge of Glory

OH MAN! I pushed play and litterally choked on my water from laughing. I don't know if it is so much the song as much as it is this man's mustache.  Don't get me wrong, I love country.....but, this is a bit too much for me. Hopefully this guy didn't quit his day job and decide to take his cover on "Gaga Tour."

#3 - Bad Romance

I wanna Rock...ROCK!!! This kid can really strum that Geeeeetar.  Did I just head bang to Lady Gaga?? Ummmm, YES, that just happened.  Well, guess there is a first for everything.

#4 - How to Write a Lady Gaga Song

Now, after watching all the cover videos I have chosen and this little 'How To' video, you now have all the tools you will need to write and perform your own Lady Gaga video......that is, if you really even wanted to. Maybe I'll give it a shot and let you know how it goes.  But, in all reality, I think I will just go out to the lake for the weekend and listen to Fleetwood Mac.  But, hey! It was a good thought.....kind of.
