Her penchant for "XO"s considered, Beyonce is certainly not feeling the love.

According to Radar Online, Queen Bey is on the receiving end of a lawsuit that claims her "XO," a track from 2013's Beyonce, is a total ripoff. The site says background singer Ahmad Lane filed the federal lawsuit last year, which seeks $7 million in damages.

Lane, who goes by his stage name Javon, says he previously worked with Beyonce's current background singer, Chrissy Collins, during which time he played his "XOXO" for Collins. He contends Collins then played the song for Beyonce, who proceeded to manufacture it into her own hit.

Still, Beyonce is brushing the lawsuit off, and her attorney has called Lane's action "vague and cryptic," adding "The two works at issue are entirely different songs that share no lyrical or musical similarity, other than perhaps the letters 'X' and 'O'...there is no meaningful similarity in pitch series, rhythm or rhythmic patterns, melodic development or structure."

Also of note: Beyonce's attorney has pointed out that while "XO" speaks to the power of love, "XOXO" touches on “being horny” and “wanting to love every inch of the lover’s body." Sounds like a tune that might not make it onto the wedding playlist circuit this summer.

Take a listen to both songs, and tell us if you can hear the similarities, or if you think Lane's full of hot air.
