Big Time Rush were excited to be a part of TeenNick's 2012 Halo Awards, not only to present deserving teens with awards, but to watch one of their favorite artists, Ne-Yo, perform.

Before the show, BTR's James Maslow and Carlos Pena chatted with Celebuzz about their love for the R&B star. “I’ve been a fan of Ne-Yo before I even had a job in music,” Maslow revealed on the red carpet.

Pena also had a fun fact to share, proving his fandom. “He has a song called ‘Let Me Love You,’ and he wrote Mario’s ‘Let Me Love You.’ He did it twice . . . he’s pretty awesome,” he said.

The two members of BTR presented an award at the Hollywood Palladium event on Saturday (Nov. 17), which honors teens who give back to their communities, and, according to Pena, they couldn't have been more honored to do it.

"There's so many kids out there who are doing so much, I mean even more than we are and a lot of people out there," the singer said. "They're just giving their entire lives to go and help other people out and to me that's such a beautiful thing."

The 2012 TeenNick Halo Awards will air tonight (Nov. 19) at 8PM EST on Nick at Nite.
