UNDATED (AP) — Chicago scored on its first three shots of the game in a 1:39 span and went on to crush the Red Wings 7-1.

Matthew Saad and Dave Bolland were part of that spree and wound up with a pair of goals each in the rout. Jonathan Toews (tayvz) added a goal and two assists as Jeremy Morin and Nick Leddy also scored for Chicago. Cory Crawford made 33 saves.

Elsewhere around the NHL;

—David Krejci (KRAY'-chee) and Nathan Horton scored 2:50 apart in the third period to lift Boston to 2-0 win over Buffalo. Anton Khudobin stopped 26 shots to earn the shutout.

— Brad Richardson and Justin Williams scored third-period goals just over a minute apart to help lift the Kings to a 3-2 victory over Dallas.

— Ruslan Fedotenko scored 1:34 into overtime after Kimmo Timonen got the tying goal with 9.5 seconds left in regulation, and the Flyers beat the Washington Capitals 5-4.

— Mark Letestu set up the only goal in regulation and scored the game-winner in overtime as Columbus edged Anaheim 2-1. The Blue Jackets have earned points in 15 of their last 17 games to get back in the playoff picture.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby has a broken jaw and is out indefinitely after being hit in the mouth with a puck in a win against the Islanders Saturday. The club said on its website that the NHL's scoring leader underwent surgery after the game and that there will be an update on his status later in the week.

The Penguins have won 15 straight games, and next play Buffalo on Tuesday.
