It all came to an end Sunday. Three days of biking, paddling, running, hiking and taking everything Wyoming can dish out ended at Crossroads Park in Casper as the Cameco Cowboy Tough Adventure Race for 2016 is in the books.

And the winner of the fourth annual race was the Team Adventure Medical Kits from Oakland, California.

This year the rules changed a bit with the racers working straight through with no real rest stops or blackout periods.

Navigation, check points and some of the most challenging parts of the Wyoming back country greeted the teams and help make this one of the toughest routes on the Adventure Race calendar.

Teams start out in the City of Buffalo, at the foot hills of the Big Horn mountain range. Mountain biking though technical single track, fire roads, and trails were on the menu.

The race passed through at least two working ranches and multiple navigation courses made it especially tough.

The contestants finished up biking into Crossroads Park Sunday morning.
