The Casper Housing Authority provides decent, safe, affordable housing for Casper's low-income citizens through programs that are funded and regulated by the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Casper Housing Authority is committed to increasing opportunities for low and moderate income, families and individuals, by providing safe, affordable housing and facilitating access to social and community services.

Casper Housing Authority’s tenants receive seeds and soil, and create their own vegetable and/or floral garden, which will be judged by our Board of Commissioners, whom are appointed by the City of Casper, in late August. The purpose of the project is to encourage healthy eating, and knowledge of food production. Winning participants will receive prizes donated by Casper area businesses.

They are seeking items for donations from area businesses for their winners. Thus far, they have secured donations from these wonderful Casper businesses and organizations:

Lai Tai, Wyoming Camera Outfitters, Barbwire & Roses Cakes & Pastries, Tam's Meals To Go, Gnat Hoops, Wind City Books, Mark E Drury Law Offices, Casper College Theatre, Castle Coffee, Wyoming Symphony Orchestra, Toy Town, and Jade Elephant Beads.
