What have the Casper Police Department been doing to secure safety on one of Casper's busiest streets? That is the question many were asking after two fatal car accidents, only two weeks apart, happened on 2nd Street earlier this year.

Since April, there has been a 'beefed-up' speed enforcement zone that has been running the length of 2nd Street at several various times and locations. It is evident the those two incidents have played a major factor in the community. You can clearly see the effects from the solar-powered speed limits signs strategically placed around schools and streets where there is higher capacity for speedsters as well as squad cars parked, radar guns aimed at potential law brakers.

Kudos goes out to our boys in blue for making the streets a little safer.
