Three men were charged Monday with crimes related to a shooting early Friday morning that hospitalized one man whose injuries are non life threatening.

The shooting happened at a garage storage unit on Landmark Lane. The victim was shot three times and is in stable condition.

Mason C. Fletcher, 18, Taylor J. Whiting, 25, and Steven Spearman, 18, heard the charges against them during their initial appearances in Natrona County Circuit Court on Monday.

All were charged with felonies and misdemeanors. Because of the felony charges, they did not enter pleas before Judge Brian Christensen. They will have preliminary hearings soon to determine whether there is probable cause to send them to district court for trial.

Fletcher was charged with felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

His bond was set at $5,000.

Assistant District Attorney Bret Johnson said Fletcher also probably was the alleged gunman. After the hearing, Johnson said Assistant District Attorney Dan Itzen is reviewing the allegations about the shooting itself. Itzen did not immediately return a phone call.

Whiting was charged with a felony count of conspiracy to commit robbery and a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance.

His bond was set at $20,000.

Spearman was charged with one felony count of conspiracy to commit robbery, two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, and a misdemeanor count possession of a concealed deadly weapon.

His bond also was set at $20,000.

They remain in custody at the Natrona County Dentention Center.
