After a beautiful stretch of weather over the holiday weekend, expect some clouds, cooler temperatures and a few showers and thunderstorms across central Wyoming today and into Wednesday as subtropical moisture has returned to Wyoming. Temperatures will just be in the 70s to near 80 today and Wednesday with a few scattered showers and thunderstorms possible

Another cold front will pass through Wyoming tonight and early tomorrow morning bringing more cool air in from western Canada. High temperatures on Saturday will only reach the 60s and 70s on the plains with 50s and 60s in the mountains. T

Hurricane Irene may end up being one of the 10 costliest catastrophes in U.S. history. Industry experts currently put the storm’s damage at $7 billion to $10 billion; however, much of that destruction may not be covered by insurance because it was caused by flooding and not winds. During a live broadcast from Hurricane Irene-ravaged Virginia on Saturday, reporter Eric Fisher was unexpectedly upstaged when a dude dressed in swim trunks ran behind him, pulled his trunks down and gave “weather front” a whole new meaning.
