Check Out The Original ‘Pixels’ Short [VIDEO]

The new big budget Adam Sandler and Kevin James movie, Pixels, looks like it's going to be a hit. But did you know it was actually based on a two and a half minute short?

The original 'Pixels' was created by the French writer and director Patrick Jean in 2010. It also won the Annecy Crystal for Best Short Film at the 2011 Annecy International Animated Film Festival.

The Adam Sandler version obviously is full featured filmed, but it's still cool to see the basis for the film. As far as short films go, 'Pixels' was very well done.
