There’s a video coming for the Coldplay and Rihanna collaboration ‘Princess of China,’ and some fans got a sneak peek on Tuesday at the British band’s concert in Edmonton when clips from the video were shown during a performance of the song.

The clip (via Ace Showbiz ) showed RiRi in a tight black outfit with a towering hairstyle, a look she previously described on Twitter as “gangsta goth geisha.” Rihanna looked almost mystical, as she and several unseen individuals waved their arms together in choreographed fashion.

The fan-shot video was somewhat blurry and distant, and the concert only featured Rihanna’s parts, so we didn’t get the full picture of how the final video will look when Coldplay’s scenes are added. Will Coldplay also go for an exotic look?

‘Princess of China’ has already charted in both the U.S. and U.K. despite the lack of a video. The band surely hopes it will achieve the chart success of the first two singles from ‘Mylo Xyloto’ — ‘Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall’ and ‘Paradise.’ Rihanna joined Coldplay for a performance of the song at the Grammy Awards in February.
