Northern and central Wyoming will continue to be in a good position for spring showers today and Friday due to a broad trough of low pressure that is ushering in moisture from the north and west.  This trough will also keep temperatures relatively cool.  High temperatures will be mainly in the 50s, with 40s in the higher elevations.  Due to the cool conditions, the mountains and higher elevations will see a rain/snow mix to all wet snow at times.

Further south temperatures will be a bit warmer today and top off in the 60s, with 70s returning to some areas on Friday.  The southern third of the state will also have less of a chance for precipitation.  However, isolated small showers and a few thunderstorms still cannot be ruled out.

The wind will be strong in some areas too.  Southern and central Wyoming will experience mainly west to northwest winds today with gusts to 35 mph at times.   On Friday south to southeast winds up to 30 mph are expected.
