With the warmer weather arriving, people are getting outdoors and exercising more. I've always wished I was one of those people. They just seem to have so much get up and go, but lately, more often than not, I found myself collapsing as soon as I hit the door. I know it's not healthy, and frankly, I don't like it.

I'm staring a big birthday in the face. I'd love to welcome it with open arms because I'm happy and healthy. I have a lot of friends who run... even one who does those 100 mile runs that take over 24 hours. Now, I'm definitely not interested in that, but I would like to be able to make it around the track a few times without looking like an out of breath tomato.

So, with that being said, I've downloaded the 'Couch to 5K' app. It was free in the app store on my iPhone. According to the materials, I'm 8 weeks away from running a 5K! I've also purchased some running shoes and some inexpensive running gear. I plan to start in the morning. Pray for me! The last time I tried this, I got a boil where the sun don't shine. I've taken precautions this time!
