Those not familiar with the Wyoming landscape are going to tough it out.

Competition at the Third Annual Cowboy Tough Adventure Week is underway as nearly 100 adventurists are hiking, biking, water paddling and climbing their way through the Big Horn Mountains, between Buffalo and Casper.

The race takes three and one-half days to complete and participants had no idea before-hand on what the route is.

There are various check-points that all two and four-person teams must reach along the way and at each check-point, teams have to complete a challenge, aside from the race itself.

The race is scheduled to conclude at Crossroads Park in Casper at around noon on Sunday, July 19th.
