Casper Police are working to solve a rash of auto burglaries around the city, some of which targeted stereo systems. According to Detective John Hatcher, the Casper Police Department has taken 23 calls of auto burglaries in the month of October alone. At least two of the cases involved stereo systems being removed from the vehicles.

The burglaries have taken place all over the Casper area, and police say they want to remind citizens to keep their vehicles locked to help deter such crimes.

If you have any information about these burglaries or any other crimes, please call the Crime Stoppers Tip line at 307-577-TIPS (8477) or use the TipSubmit Mobile app, which is free for your mobile device.
