Nick Carter’s upcoming zombie western Dead 7 is set to air later this week (April 1), and it’s gearing up to be a late ‘90s/early ‘00s dream come true.

Not only are long-forgotten boyband members starring in the film, but they came together to record a new song for it, too.

Nick Carter, A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough from Backstreet Boys, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick from NSYNC, Jeff Timmons from 98 Degrees and Erik-Michael Estrada from O-Town joined forces to record “In The End." It’s a harmony-heavy call back to the boy bands of yesteryear, and totally perfect in this specific context. Stream the track, and download a free MP3 here.

“Think about it,” Carter said about the movie in an interview with BuzzFeed. “Boy-banders, people from the late ‘90s, people who you love, fighting zombies in a post-apocalyptic world. Pretty crazy, right?"

Yes, it is pretty crazy.

PEOPLE reports that Joey Fatone will play sidekick to Carter’s protagonist and hero and AJ McLean will appear as the “apprentice to the main villain.”

In further good news, Carter reportedly worked closely with The Asylum, the production company behind the endlessly engaging and GIF-able Sharknado franchise, ensuring that the movie will be entertaining, if nothing else.

Be sure to catch Dead 7 when it airs on SyFy on April 1 and head over to BuzzFeed to listen to "In The End."
