Demi Lovato Confirmed as 2012 Teen Choice Awards Host

Demi Lovato is everywhere lately when it comes to televised music events. The new ‘X Factor‘ judge has just been confirmed as the host of the 2012 Teen Choice Awards, which air in less than two weeks.

While Lovato had been suggested as a possible host last week, the Teen Choice Awards made the news official with a tweet today:

Besides hosting the program, Lovato could walk away as the big winner of the night, because she’s nominated for four awards. ‘Give Your Heart a Break’ is up for Choice Summer Song and Choice Love Song, while Lovato is also in the running for Choice Summer Music Star: Female and Choice Twit, for the best tweeter.

Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen and One Direction are among the top nominees for the show, which rewards teen faves in music, tv, movies, video games and sports. Bieber, Jepsen and No Doubt will all perform live on the June 22 broadcast, as well.
