Looks like Demi Moore has finally had enough of Ashton Kutcher’s antics. The actress told the Associated Press on Thursday that she’s filing for divorce.

Her statement reads:

“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.”

Compassion? Yes. Privacy? Highly doubtful.

Kutcher was caught — almost literally — with his pants down after a Southern California woman said last month she’d spent the night with the ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor on the eve of his sixth anniversary to Moore, sparking a massive tabloid frenzy. While reports indicated Moore, 49, and Kutcher, 33, were trying to work things out, it was apparently not in the cards.

Ashton responded to Moore’s statement on his Twitter feed, saying:

I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK

This will be Kutcher’s first divorce and Moore’s third. She was previously wed to musician Freddy Moore and to actor Bruce Willis.
