It has been 18 long years since a legend was taking out of the Hip-Hop game at the highlight of his career. The Notorious B.I.G. was shot and killed on March 9th, 1997, at the tender age of 24.

Although Biggie, who's government name was Christopher Wallace, only released one full length album prior to his murder, his second offering, Life After Death, was released just 16 days after his passing and is certified diamond (over 10 million copies sold). That is a rare feat in the Hip-Hop world and further solidifies his name with other musical greats.
