The view from Casper Mountain at Look-out Point is beautiful all throughout the year. Skiing and snowboarding at Hogadon Basin Ski Area is a blast. The Beatrap Summer Festival is a hit each year. There are also a plethora of camping spots and awesome trails. For some of us however, the drive up and down the mountain is horrific.

Personally speaking, I'm terrified to traverse the mountain at night or in any adverse-type weather conditions. It may be because I've seen too many horror flicks (like Final Destination), but the turns, the drops and the Wyoming wind, combined with just a smidgen of anxiety and lack of guardrails, keeps me from traveling the area as often as I'd like.
