In the strange world of an anonymous artist's mind, comes these ginormous, 8-foot Lego-men. They have apparently been washing up on shores all around the world. The only information of who created these statues is the pseudonym: Ego Leonard, which one would guess-timate is a play on the word Lego.

According to Ego Leonard's official website (which you can enter here), his origins may be otherworldly. Here is his self-professed introduction:

My name is Ego Leonard and according to you I come from the virtual world. A world that for me represents happiness, solidarity, all green and blossoming, with no rules and restrictions. Lately my world is flooded with adventurers and power mongers. Many new encounters in the virtual world have made me very curious about your way of life. I'm here because I want to discover and understand your world and thoughts. Let me see all the beautiful things that are there to admire in your world. Is my friend and tell your stories, take me on a journey through beautiful meadows, words, sounds and gestures.

The UFO extremist are already going bonkers and the writing on all of the giant Lego-men's shirts isn't helping either. They all read:

NO REAL THAN YOU ARE.

That semi-broken English is contributing to the fanatics. From the original language on Ego Leonard's website, I can only surmise that he's really German... but that to is only a hypothesis. Regardless, it's still cool and one can only hope Ego continues putting these giants out to the waters.
