This is not one of those lists you want to end up on. Glenrock and Evansville have both been ranked among the 10 poorest cities in Wyoming.

This newly-released list from RoadSnacks looks at cities in Wyoming where families live below a federally recommended level of income. There was a survey they pulled info from that was performed between 2013 and 2017. From that, they looked at the following metrics:

  • Poverty Level
  • Median Household Income adjusted for the cost of living
  • Unemployment Rate

With all of those things factored in, Evansville comes in as the 8th poorest city in Wyoming. Roadsnacks dinged them for the unemployment rate.

Glenrock was on their list as the 9th poorest city in Wyoming due to the number of families living below the poverty level.

I'm always wary of lists like this. This one appears to be based on actual data instead of opinion, so that's good. Do you agree or no? Check out the full RoadSnacks ranking to check their data for yourself.
