While fireworks are illegal in Casper, Natrona County, Converse County and many other areas in the region, officials in Glenrock are setting up an area where you can light up your fountains or firecrackers for a fee.

The Glenrock Fire Department is overseeing an area Thursday night where you can use your fireworks in a safe, supervised and legal manner.

Glenrock Fire Chief Jeff Nelson says the fireworks event will be held Thursday at the South Recreation Complex in Glenrock. If you want to take part, the admission fee is $10 per carload.

Money raised through the event will benefit and upcoming trip for the Glenrock High School band.
