House Fire on Beech St.

A house fire on Beech Street caused significant damage to a two story home Saturday morning. A neighbor walking by noticed smoke coming from the house at 822 Beech, and knocked on windows until the two children inside got out.

The call went out at 11am.

Fire officials say the blaze appears to have started on the back porch, and when they arrived, the attic was fully involved. Five fire units fought the blaze, and within five minutes it was out.

There were no injuries, but a good deal of damage to the home. More photos below.
