It was Labor Day Weekend ... which means chances are you did over-indulge. That's no surprise. But it may surprise you how much you over-indulged. According to a new survey, the average person eats about three times more at a BBQ than they would during a normal meal... great. 

Most of us chow down on about 1,800 calories at a barbecue, while a typical meal at home would be about 500 to 700 calories.

And what are we eating? The top five BBQ foods are: burgers, hot dogs, salad, potato salad and coleslaw. A plate with one helping of each has around 900 calories. And most of us (61% according to the survey) go back for seconds.

Oh, and that's not even counting the alcohol. Have two glasses of wine or a couple of beers and that's an extra 400 calories or more. (Daily Mail)
