A 40-year-old Cheyenne man currently jailed on charges stemming from a November burglary has been served with 26 warrants.

According to arrest records, Matthew Laganiere was served with 17 felony warrants and nine misdemeanor warrants yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.

Four of the warrants were for burglary, 10 for theft and 12 for forgery.

Laganiere was arrested on Nov. 15, 2017, after Laramie County deputies conducting a traffic stop found several stolen items in his SUV linking him to a home burglary.

He was also questioned for several other car burglaries that occurred in the county.

Laganiere is being held on a $30,000 cash bond. If convicted on all 26 charges, he could face up to 174-and-a-half years in prison.
