Jay-Z Doesn’t Clap for Chris Brown’s MTV VMA Performance [VIDEO]

Say what you will about Chris Brown.  (I've said a lot, and most of it wasn't good.)  Gotta give credit where credit is due though, the guy can dance.  However, not everyone in the VMA crowd was a fan of the performance - most notably Jay-Z, who seemed extremely unimpressed with Chris's appearance.

His friend Kanye West was on his feet for the duration - but Jigga barely looked.  Makes sense though - if you remember, Jay-Z signed Rihanna years ago, and the two are very close.  He allegedly even made the comment that Chris was a "walking dead man" after the assault.

Not a bad show - though I'm not sure why they even bothered to use the prop microphone with the so-so amount of lip-synching that was going on.
