The ‘Hot, Ready and Legal’ Justin Bieber appears on the cover of Rolling Stone, with recycled adjectives that were once used for a Lindsay Lohan spread. The image and behind-the-scenes footage leaked yesterday. Now, the mag has offered up quotes from the feature, where the writer got to follow the teen idol, who considers himself more manly in recent years, to an L.A. golf course, to ‘The Tonight Show With Jay Leno’ and while the paparazzi tailed him. Fun times, indeed.

The Biebs, who turned 18 back in March, revealed that he feels more like a man than a boy at this juncture of his life and career. “I feel like I carry myself in a more manly way,” he declared. “I don’t carry myself as a boy.” Hear that Beliebers?

Other shared nuggets from the story, which you can read in full when the ish drops on July 20, include an incident with the paparazzi. While golfing, Biebs is confronted by photogs. He takes a nine-iron and smashes a golf ball their way. He then tells an employee that “we’ll probably never play here again.” Ouch. Somehow, we don’t think it was the golf course’s fault that the paps followed him and gained some access. But we can understand his ire, since he is constantly under the scrutiny of flashbulbs.

The Biebs’ relationship with Selena Gomez, which is pretty long-term by both teen and Hollywood standards at this point, is also discussed. Manager Scooter Braun says he’s not worried that Bieber being coupled up with a fellow celeb will cause teen girls to turn their back on him.

“Personally, I think that’s all a bunch of bulls—,” Braun exclaimed. “Yes, there’s gonna be some girls that if they see him with a girlfriend, it kills the dream – but there’s also gonna be girls that see him with a girlfriend, hear about the romantic things he does and want him even more.”

We couldn’t agree more, Mr. Braun. The Biebs is a romantic at heart and when we hear about the sweet stuff he does for Sel, we’re beyond impressed with him and his swag, swag, swag.
