Over this lovely holiday break that we all just got back from, my family and I had one of the weirdest things happen to us while eating dinner Tuesday night.

Growing up in such a small town you hardly think to lock your doors while you're awake and the lights are on. Not many people just come waltzing into your front door unannounced but it does happen.

In fact, that is exactly what happened to us on the first night of the new year. I don't believe this individual was going to hurt any of us but I do think it's a little weird to walk into someone's house especially if you haven't been there before. Thankfully my parents have some great loyal coonhounds that have some really mean sounding barks!

Whatever happen to knocking? Or ringing the doorbell? Am I crazy to think that those are important things to do regardless of where you grew up or born?
