Fans of Lana Del Rey will be thrilled with this leaked track. A dreamy ode to a love, ‘Never Let Me Go’ may be Del Rey’s most romantic song to date.

The chanteuse cites ‘Scarface,’ drugs (possibly a nod to her rumored recovered meth addiction), New York’s famous CBGB rock club and tells her lover, “I can be your Nancy / You can be my Sid.” She went from Nancy Sinatra to Nancy Spungeon, but both personas fit her well. Her chorus, highlighted by “Never let me go, just stay.” It’s one of the most melodic songs she’s ever recorded and is almost certain to be a fan favorite and radio staple if it’s released.

Del Rey’s next official single off of her debut ‘Born to Die’ is ‘National Anthem.’ The pillow-lipped singer recently had to postpone a gig at Soho House in her hometown of NYC to record the video for the track. Previous singles from ‘Born to Die’ include the title track, breakout hit ‘Video Games’ and ‘Blue Jeans.’ She also released a video for ‘Carmen,’ though it wasn’t released as an official album single.

A snippet of a sing-talk style song, ‘Ride or Die,’ recently leaked, and it couldn’t be more different from ‘Never Let Me Go.’ It’s nice to see the glam gal’s softer side on this song, which could easily be a new prom anthem.
