Lea Michele Smolders on Flare Cover
Lea Michele smolders with smoky eyes, shiny, voluminous, wavy hair and quite a ring on the January cover of Flare, a Canadian fashion magazine. It's essentially a headshot of the star and she scorches.
The new L'Oreal spokesmodel and 'Glee' star looks ravishing in the spread, thanks to her contoured cheeks (courtesy of bronzer), ombre hair falling in "I just woke up" tousled waves and smoky doe eyes. It's easily the sultriest we've ever seen the singer.
In the feature (quotes courtesy of ONTD), she reveals that despite having an enviable red carpet style, she is "very simple with clothes" and "I don't like to wear lot of makeup." That's an Interesting for someone who just signed a lucrative contract with a major cosmetics brand to make, but Michele's explanation makes total sense.
Michele continued, "I really feel like I’m the only girl who will do a photo shoot and want to take all the hair and makeup off. 'Cause I like to let my skin breathe and you know, I’m pretty minimal in my wardrobe."
L'Oreal does manufacture skincare products, so with that attitude, Michele seems perfectly suited to pitch those items. Plus, she's drop-dead gorgeous in an unconventional way, so she is certainly the right choice to rep the brand.
Michele also spoke about her copious tattoos, which tally up to about 12. Despite the volume, they are all tiny. "But they’re all very very very little," she said. "I have a butterfly with my mom that we got together." She doesn't love every single one of her tats, though. In fact, she is having one lasered off. "This heart on my finger that I got with [my] cousins, that I'm actually in the process of removing, ‘cause it didn’t take well to the red," she revealed.
Romance was also a topic of conversation for the singer/actress, who is dating co-star, Canadian actor Cory Monteith. She gushed, "Canada makes some great dudes, and he’s definitely one of them—just the nicest, sweetest guy in the world. And it’s really great that I’ve gotten to go to Victoria and Vancouver a lot—it’s so beautiful."
She also spoke about her upcoming album, saying the process is both long and slow, since she wants to get it right.
