Lil Wayne has worked with some of the best hit-makers in the rap game. The Young Money rapper has spitted bars over beats by Kanye West, Jim Jonsin, Swizz Beatz and many others. But Wayne recently disclosed that he has recorded a slew of tracks with legendary hip-hop producer Dr. Dre.

“I’ve always worked with Dre,” Wayne says matter-of-factly to MTV News. “I’m not sure if you guys know how Dre works, Dre always send you a song, so I done probably did like 90 songs for Dre. You just never know which one he gonna put out.”

Now keep in mind that Weezy is probably exaggerating just a little bit. To record close to 100 songs and not have one leak onto the Internet is pretty amazing. But we have to ask this question — why is Dr. Dre holding on to a plethora of Wayne songs? Come on, Dre, you got to release some of those songs to the public. Or, at the very least, let Wayne have some of them for his upcoming LP ‘I Am Not a Human Being II.’

Speaking of ‘Human Being II,’ the ‘How to Love’ rapper also told MTV News that super-producer Kanye West will be heavily involved in making that project the hottest rap album ever. “Yeah he got some music on there,” he says. “It’s crazy, actually I don’t want to give too much up but he’s got a big hand in the album, you’ll see.”

In the meantime, we hope that Dr. Dre is reading this article and decides to give fans an early Christmas gift and drop one of those Weezy joints online.

Lil Wayne’s ‘I Am Not a Human Being II’ will hit stores in December.
