Friday, July 29 - a group of local musicians and sponsors come together for a great cause - Casper's Habitat For Humanity.  The event happens from 4-8pm, with a live concert from Cory & The Crew at United Church of Christ, at 15th & Melrose.  Lots of fun - and lots of stuff to win, too!

Including my favorite prize -  50 hours of labor and 20 gallons of paint for whatever household project you're working on, courtesy of Cory & The Crew, and Diamond Vogel paint.  Raffle tickets are $5 and available in advance.  There'll also be activities for the kids - like face painting, a dunk tank, and lots more.  "Bike & Build", a group of bicyclists who ride cross country and help with Habitat builds, will be there to share their experiences as well.  Food will be available for purchase, from Essence Of Life Catering, Cupcakes a Go-Go, and The Art Of Coffee.

The "fee" for this event is up to you - all donations will be gratefully received, and all proceeds will go towards the Habitat for Humanity's capital campaign, which pays for their newly opened Re-Store store and offices (now located at 302 Van Horn Avenue in Mills) - plus ensure future building projects.  Habitat currently has a matching grant offer for $25,000 - and with your help, they can get well on their way to achieving that match.

Bring sunscreen, an appetite, and your generosity - if you'd like to volunteer or help with some raffle prizes, contact Dee Lundberg at 406-930-1099.
