Lorde was just about to hit the road on an Australian tour. But the singer, 17, has had to pull a Miley Cyrus and cancel because she is sick.

Oh no! What ails Lorde?

We're not sure of the exact nature of her sickness, but the 'Royals' singer did express her disappointment at letting down her Aussie fans in favor of recovering from the unnamed affliction.

The six-city tour was due to launch in Melbourne on Thursday, April 24, but the trek has been tabled. The silver lining to this black pop music cloud? The dates will be rescheduled, so Lorde will be playing for her fans Down Under soon enough!

Lorde's statement (via WENN) about postponing the dates is as follows:

It breaks my heart to have to postpone these shows as the band and I absolutely love playing to Australian crowds, and it was not a decision we made lightly. I know I need to focus on getting better in order to perform at my best. We'll be with you as soon as we can, Aussies.

The singer will return to her native New Zealand to rest up and to get better. We respect her for bowing out as opposed to going on with the show and performing while not at her 100 percent best and thus giving fans a subpar concert.

Be patient, Aussie Lorde fans! She will, like Ah-nuld, be back!
