Six-year-old Mariah Cini, an Australian girl who was named after Mariah Carey, got the chance to meet her namesake on Jan. 3 when the 'We Belong Together' singer and husband Nick Cannon invited Cini on stage during a concert in Sydney, Australia.

Carey brought out Cini during a break between songs and said, "Can I look at your emsemble? Your outfit is very pretty. That is pink and it's gorgeous!" Carey added that when she grew up, she hated that she was the only one with the name Mariah, so now she's excited to see other girls with the same name.

After a few more minutes of adorable conversation, Carey summoned Cannon to the stage. He brought Cini a Santa hat and Carey serenaded her with a line from 'All I Want for Christmas is You' before giving her a hug and directing her back to her father. This was surely a moment the girl will never forget.

Cini's dad Chris met Mariah during a 1998 concert in Australia and decided to name his daughter after the 'We Belong Together' singer. As reported by Contact Music, Chris said, "Mariah Carey is truly a beautiful, genuine person. She's protective of her fans and she's not above herself at all. I knew when we were having a baby girl that she would be my Mariah Grace."

"I've always liked her, from when I was born, basically," Mariah Cini added. "Dad always said if she came back [to Australia] we'd go to visit her and I couldn't believe it. I know I'm one of the luckiest fans in Australia."

Carey has one more concert in Australia on Jan. 5 in Melbourne before her brief tour Down Under comes to a close. Season 12 of 'American Idol,' the first to feature Carey as a judge, premieres on Jan. 16 on FOX.
