Mary Miranda, 17, was born in Cuba but moved to New Mexico a few years ago and is now pursuing the American dream on 'The Voice.' She was bullied when she arrived here because she couldn't communicate or speak English, so she learned the language through music and found inherent comfort in it.

Can you see where this is going? Mary Miranda and Shakira are a match made in 'The Voice' heaven. They were on a collision course to finding one another!

For her blind audition tonight (April 8), the teen sang Selena's 'Como La Flor' (translation: 'Like the Flower') and from the first long, extended note, Shakira was blown away, grooving in her seat. We don't get why it took the 'Hips Don't Lie' singer more than three seconds to turn her chair around. She and Shak were made for one another.

Mary Miranda is a beautiful Selena Gomez look-alike whose physical beauty was matched by that of her vocals. She also got Usher and Blake Shelton to turn their chairs, too. You could see Shakira mouth "mother f---er" when they did that, but she was never in danger of not luring Miranda to her lair. Even Ush and Blake knew that they were screwed and weren't going to win Miranda's talent over Shakira. But they still tried ... and failed.
