Miley Cyrus Says Her ‘Dad Knows Nothing’ About Her Wedding Plans

It's another battle of celebrity offspring versus parental authority that Hollywood seems to be so very fond of -- and Miley Cyrus and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, have unfortunately become the latest "victims" of this Hollywood wrath.

Miley's dad has been rather forthcoming with information of his daughter's impending nuptials, and even announced that she planned to have not just one wedding, but three. Well needless to say, that turned everyone's heads.

Well, our darling Miley sat down with Ellen DeGeneres on 'The Ellen Show' and decided to clear up the rumors that her father reportedly spread. She also chatted with 'Entertainment Tonight' to dispel the ridiculousness that is having three weddings.

"I don't know what my dad is doing, or where my dad is on the planet," she said to the entertainment news show. "My dad knows nothing. I don't know what he is making up ... I hate to put him on blast, but he doesn't know what he's talking about."

Not only did she have a lot to say about what her own father said regarding her personal life, but she even talked about why she thinks he'd say such things.

"He does what I do when he's sitting in a press thing -- he's like, 'Let's make this fun. Let's make stuff up. Let's get the ball rolling on some good rumors, because I'm bored and I can start something.'"
