Miley Cyrus has been known to hang out with the hip-hop types a lot lately. So it's no surprise that she would eventually record a song where she "spits a verse". The song is entitled "23" and is the first single on Atlanta-based record producer, Mike Will Made-It's upcoming album, Est. in 1989, Pt. 3.

Miley has worked with Mike Will Made-It before. He produced her smash single We Can't Stop. 23 also features rap heavy-hitters, Wiz Khalifa & Juicy J and marks the first time Miley has officially rapped on a song. Wiz & Juicy had already recorded their verses and Mike Will was looking for a female to put on the track. He played it for Miley while they were still working on her album and after hearing it, she really wanted to be on it. Mike was reluctant at first, but after hearing her recorded verse, decided to keep her on the track.

This will most definitely add to the controversy that is becoming her life lately as the song makes quite a few references to recreational drug use (as well as wearing Jordan sneakers... 23... get it?). While not really a song I'd personally bump in my car just to listen to, I can assure you this one will get a lot of club play as it has that easy to repeat hook and the beat itself is a banger. Like the great Jay Z put it: twerk Miley, Miley twerk!!!
