Work on the junction of U.S. 20/26 and the Shoshoni Bypass to prepare it for the West Belt Loop connection will begin the week of May 18.

Work will begin on the south side of the junction. Traffic will be switched to the westbound lanes of U.S. 20/26 and reduced to one lane, either direction. A left turn lane for eastbound traffic will be installed to allow access onto the Bypass.

Speeds will be reduced to 30 mph through the work zone.

The crossover for traffic will begin at approximately Zero Road and end just east of the junction.

This portion of the project will last through the end of June. Once completed, traffic will be switched to the eastbound lanes to allow for the rest of the intersection to be finished.
