Morgan Freeman Is Most Liked Celebrity in 2014

I saw Morgan Freeman in his very first acting role opposite the late Christopher Reeve in the movie, "Street Smart."

I knew there was something special about him. He was charismatic, confident and made you feel his character.

Well, now it seems the country has come to appreciate the actor, but moreover the man and his ability to make you feel like he's your granddaddy. Maybe its the soothing voice.

The 77-year-old Million Dollar Baby actor was the clear favorite of the 1,100 people surveyed. Tom Hanks took the number two spot, followed by Sandra Bullock, Betty White and Will Smith.

The list of "Most Liked Celebrities" in the U.S. was determined by a consumer survey of people ages 13 to 49 by E-Score, a research service that provides information to media and entertainment companies.
