Thrice has been a mainstay of the "Screamo" version of Rock for quite some time. The evolution of this band has been incredible, and it was assumed that the real "breakout" star of Thrice would be it's frontman, Dustin Kensrue. Well, break out he did, into a genre completely different than the one he and his band-fellows helped make famous. With traces of Johnny Cash, Elvis Costello, The Beatles, and more in his blues/folk/rock/rockabilly repetoire, Kensrue has transcended genres and blended them all and has become one of the greatest artists that many of you have never heard of, which is why his music is music you should be listening to.
