• After a careful examination of transportation conditions relating to the snow event yesterday, February 1, 2016 and this morning February 2, the Superintendent has determined to open all buildings and hold all classes today during their regular schedules.
• Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, NCSD Transportation Department will transport students within Casper with the following modifications:
• All Special Education (SPED) bus routes are canceled.
• Northwest: NCSD will not transport past Fab Tech on 33 mile road to the north and the west. Buses affected are: Bus #66, #1, 118 (Will transport to Poison Spider)
• Parents may transport students to Mt. View School.
• Middle School/Junior High will ride bus #73. Bus leaves at 6:38 am.
• High School will ride bus #90. Bus leaves at 7:20 am.
• Elementary will ride bus #73. Bus leaves at 7:35 am.
• South: NCSD will NOT transport past Goodstein and David (No Garden Creek Rd, Casper Mt Rd, Corbutts Rd). Buses affected: Bus #3
• Parents may transport students for pick up at Goodstein and David.
• Middle School/Junior High can ride bus #3. Bus leaves at 6:37 am.
• High School can ride bus #22. Bus leaves at 7:03 am.
• Elementary can ride bus #3. Bus leaves at 7:37 am.
• West/Southwest: NCSD will Not transport past the gates on Gothberg Rd and Hwy 220. Buses affected are: Bus #17, #107, #113
• Parents may transport students to Oregon Trail School:
• Middle/Junior High will ride bus #37. Bus leaves at 6:35 am.
• High School will ride bus #61. Bus leaves at 7:20 am.
• Elementary will ride bus #37. Bus leaves at 7:35 am.
• *Dempsey Acres: No NCSD pick up in upper or lower Dempsey Acres. NCSD will NOT transport past Comet & KisKis.
• Students in Dempsey Acres may catch the bus at Comet & KisKis .
• This is bus #40 (Middle School bus leaves at 6:45, Elementary leaves at 7:41)
• Bus #90 leaves Comet & KisKis at 7:05 for High School Students.
• **Red Creek School is closed.
• *** Alcova School will be open for local students.
