Nuggets Pull Off Last Second Win During Playoff Game 1

The Denver Nuggets have had an incredible season thus far. They have the (active) coach with the most wins and the best home win record in the NBA this season. But doubters still assume, considering there is no one stand out "super-star" on the rooster, that this will hinder them during the playoffs.

Super-star or not, one of the things that make the Nuggets hard to contain is that they don't  have a super-star! Translation: their opponents never know which guy(s) are going to step up and be big at any given moment. Now more then ever, with scoring leader Danillo Gallinari out for the rest of the season and rebounding monster Kenneth Faried day to day, the rest of Denver's squad has to be ready.

Thus was the case in playoff game one. Andre Miller came up big with a career playoff high of 28 points, 18 of those scored in the 4th quarter alone and the game winning shot! Miller at age 37, had never in his career hit a game winner. Congrats go to the veteran.

Other highlights of the night included Wilson Chandler's first career playoff double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Here's to hoping the Nuggets can keep this incredible home streak going tomorrow for game 2.
