UNDATED (AP) — Unranked Penn State had dropped 18 straight regular-season Big Ten games dating to last season and trailed No. 4 Michigan by 15 points midway through the second half Wednesday night before pulling off a stunner.

Jermaine Marshall scored 19 of his game-high 25 points in the second half as the Nittany Lions rallied to beat the Wolverines 84-78. Marshall hit six of Penn State's season-high 10 three-pointers, four coming after intermission.

D.J. Newbill added 17 points for Penn State, which improved to 9-18 overall and 1-14 in the conference.

Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 19 points for the Wolverines but couldn't prevent them from dropping to 10-5 in the conference.

In other Top-25 action:

— Shane Larkin had 22 points and six assists as fifth-ranked Miami beat Virginia Tech 76-58. The Hurricanes bounced back from their first ACC loss of the season and went 11 minutes without a basket before moving a step closer to clinching the conference regular-season title.

— Otto Porter scored 21 of his 22 points after halftime as seventh-ranked Georgetown outlasted Connecticut 79-78 in double overtime. The Hoyas blew a 12-point lead in the last five minutes of regulation and trailed by seven with two minutes left before Porter eventually provided the game-winning layup with 9.5 seconds to play.

— Russ Smith scored 17 points and Peyton Siva (SEE'-vah) added 16 as 10th-ranked Louisville earned its fourth straight win, defeating DePaul 79-58. Chane Behanan (shayn beh-HAN'-uhn) added 10 points and nine rebounds for the Cardinals, who held the Blue Demons to 36 percent shooting and forced 19 turnovers.

— Eric Wise scored had 22 points on 9-of-12 shooting to fuel Southern Cal's 89-78 win over visiting 11th-ranked Arizona. Byron Wesley added 18 points for the Trojans, who shot 61 percent and dropped the Wildcats to 11-5 in the Pac-12 Conference.

— Alex Kirk had 20 points and Cameron Bairstow scored 16, including nine straight in the closing minutes to help No. 14 New Mexico beat San Diego State 70-60 and improve to 11-2 in the Mountain West Conference. Kirk scored seven points during a key 15-3 run early in the second half.

— Le'Bryan Nash scored a career-high 28 points and sparked an 18-1 spurt that led No. 15 Oklahoma State to a 64-47 win at TCU. Marcus Smart finished with nine points, five assists and six steals to help the Cowboy s improve to 11-4 in the Big 12.

— Saint Louis has a 10-game winning streak after Dwayne Evans furnished 21 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks to lead the 18th-ranked Billikens to a 70-53 rout of St. Joseph's. Rob Loe had 11 points and six rebounds in the win.

— No. 23 Pittsburgh won for the ninth time in 12 games as Tray Woodall delivered 14 points in a 64-44 stifling of South Florida. Danta Taylor chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Panthers, who went on a 16-0 run in winning for the ninth time in 12 games.
