It seems not every conversation involving Zayn Malik is as pleasant as pillowtalk.

The former One Direction member, who released his debut solo single in January, hasn't found a fan in TV personality Piers Morgan, who chided the singer on Good Morning Britain for canceling a handful of recent interviews with little notice, according to The Evening Standard.

"If you don’t want to be a popstar, go and do something else — go and clean drains," he said. "...now [Zayn's] being deliberately rude to people, pulling out of interviews, being difficult. Get over yourself mate, you’re a multi-millionaire...be respectful to people."

Morgan also said Malik's icy, aloof personality isn't going to do him any favors in the industry. But so far, the industry seems to have welcomed him just fine — "Pillowtalk" has peaked at No. 1 on the United States' Billboard charts, something Malik and his former band mates never achieved as 1D.

Malik pulled out of scheduled appearances on The Graham Norton Show and Greg James' Radio 1 talk show over the past month. He's now scheduled to make his TV debut as a solo artist tomorrow night (February 17) on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Showwhich will include a performance.
