Pusha T won't let sleeping dogs lie. The G.O.O.D. Music artist has confirmed that he did throw some lyrical darts at Lil Wayne and Birdman on Ludacris' song, 'Tell Me What They Mad For,' which recently leaked online.

"It's new and was for Luda's album," Pusha explained to VIBE. The 'New God Flow' rapper said he had to go after the YMCMB camp since he was rhyming over a Swizz Beatz-produced song. "You got to blame Swizz," he says. "See, when Wayne got a Swizz beat with the 'Ghoulish' track; he got busy, well, he tried to."

On the Luda track, Pusha contends that Weezy lost his street credibility after his prison stint. "N---as saying you was better when the drugs was in your system / Now your crack swag gone ever since u came from prison / Got you tweeting all stupid, is you skatin’, is you dissin'," raps Pusha.

"I don't like to refer to my records as diss records," he says. "At the end of the day, I make great records even in regards to whether they were aimed at somebody or not my records are great records … Don't cheapen my music by calling them [diss records]."

Pusha also revealed that Ludacris wanted him to change the verse when he realized it could potentially ignite a rap beef, but he refused. "I play by old school rules. I play by the fundamentals and foundation of what hip-hop was based on," he says.

Dissing contests aside, Pusha T Plans to drop his new album titled 'My Name is My Name,' inspired by HBO's classic drama series 'The Wire,' in early 2013.
